2023 Cantalapiedra Viticultores ‘Cantayano’ Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon, Spain

All verdejo From organically farmed vines that are 20-30 years old inthe La Seca area. The vines are planted on sandy soil withabundant pebbles over marl and limestone. The grapes were destemmed and pressed with a pneumaticpress into about 80% stainless steel tanks and 20% usedFrench oak barrels, where the juice settled and fermented atabout 20 degrees Celsius. The wine completed fermentation andmalolactic conversion and rested for 12 months on the leesbefore bottling without fining or filtering
