Legent is an innovative Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey that dares to venture beyond traditional bourbon-making techniques while maintaining its authentic essence. It’s a product of the collaboration between two of the most respected names in the whiskey industry, Fred Noe and Shinji Fukuyo, combining over 220 years of bourbon-making heritage and nearly 100 years of Japanese whisky artistry. Legent uses premium grains such as corn, rye, and malted barley, aged in select white oak barrels, and then partially finished in wine and sherry casks. Shinji Fukuyo, Chief Blender with experience from Japan, Scotland, and Kentucky, worked closely with Fred Noe to refine the recipe for Legent. With Legent, Shinji has blended the artistry of whiskey-making from different cultures to create a unique and high-quality bourbon that respects Fred Noe’s family heritage while pushing the boundaries of bourbon-making.
