Elijah Craig Straight Rye Whiskey 750ml

Elijah Craig Whiskey, a member of the Heaven Hill Distillery family, has recently expanded its repertoire with the release of its Straight Rye. Crafted in the traditional style, this rye features a mash bill consisting of 51% rye, 34% corn, and 15% malted barley. Although it does not have an age statement, this cask-strength whiskey is finished at 94% proof and is touted as being “extra aged”. Originally released in limited markets in early January 2020, E.C. Straight Rye boasts a bouquet of freshly squeezed citrus, rye spice, and sweet cherries, complemented by sugared strawberries. On the palate, one can expect notes of orange, sugar, caramel, and spicy cinnamon.
