Inspired by Lapulapu, a ruler of the Philippine island of Mactan who defeated Ferdinand Magellan and ended his circumnavigation of the globe in 1521. As a follow-up to last year’s The Boss Hog VII: Magellan’s Atlantic. LapulapusPacific is a straight rye whiskey finished in single island Philippine rum barrels and bottled at 104.8 proof. This 8th edition continues their theme of exploration and marks the fifth straight year of experimenting with unique barrel finishes from around the world.
