Bouzereau’s Bourgogne Blanc epitomizes these qualities, boasting abundant, intense fruitiness with a forward character, primarily showcasing flavors of Bosc pear and apple pie. The toasty lees contribution adds a sophisticated touch, reminiscent of higher-tier appellations. With around 25% new oak aging, a rarity for Bourgogne Blanc, the wine maintains balance through its subtle lemon curd acidity and mineral-laden finish, revealing its complexity in each sip. While immensely enjoyable now, cellaring for five to six years would further harmonize the front-loaded fruitiness with the impressive acidity, promising even greater cohesion and refinement over time.
