In 2021, this bottle marks Marchelle’s initial collaboration with the renowned Bien Nacido vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, despite Greg La Follette’s longstanding relationship with the family spanning decades. They express gratitude to the Miller family and take pride in presenting a single-vineyard rendition of Chardonnay from Block “L” of Bien Nacido. This block stands as one of the vineyard’s earliest Chardonnay plantings, tracing its roots back to 1973.

The palate opens with opulent notes of ripe stone fruit and white peach, leading to a harmonious interplay of balanced acidity.
