These whiskies are first matured in sherry and bourbon casks and then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak, which is prized for its rich aromas of apples, pears, cloves and nutmeg. Used since the 1930s, Mizunara oak is now sought after worldwide for its uniqueness.
SHINOBU Lightly Peated Pure Malt Whisky is characterized by a robust body structure with smoky notes and toasted oak aromas.
All SHINOBU whiskies are produced without chill-filtration or added coloring to preserve their complex nature and depth.
