St. Kilian Distillers stands for the creation of high-quality premium whiskies that are developed for an international audience. Over 170 different cask types mature in the distillery’s warehouses, forming the basis for the unique signature editions.
Each Signature Edition is bottled individually and bears the unmistakable signature of the casks used, giving each whisky its own character. The variety of cask maturation makes it possible to create complex aromas and special depths of flavor that give the whiskies from St. Kilian their exceptional quality.
St. Kilian Signature Edition FIFTEEN is an exclusive bottling that delights whisky lovers with its intense peat smoke and exceptional maturation in fine Amarone wine casks. This limited edition will be released on February 14, 2025 and combines the art of German distillation with Scottish tradition at the highest level.
Made from Scottish peated smoked malt with an impressive phenol content of 80 ppm, this single malt whisky has a powerful, smoky character. It was matured for three years in former Amarone casks from the renowned Lenotti winery in the Valpolicella region. The barrels used, in three different sizes (50 l, 100 l and 310 l), were transported to Ruedenau immediately after emptying in order to pass on their full aroma to the whisky.
The Signature Edition FIFTEEN is neither colored nor chill-filtered and bottled with a strong alcohol content of 53.3%. The iconic still-shaped bottle underlines the exclusivity of this special drop.
