Laphroaig FOUR OAK 40% Vol. 1l in Giftbox

Laphroaig is a whisky distillery on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay and is owned by the Japanese-American Beam Suntory group. The buildings of the distillery are classified in the Scottish heritage lists. In the production of Laphroaig, barley malt is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavor.

The name says it all with Laphroaig FOUR OAK; four different cask types are used.

Ex-Bourbon Barrels, Quarter Casks, Virgin American Oak Barrels, and European Oak Hogsheads give this single malt Scotch whisky its exceptional peaty-smoky aroma.
