The Fettercairn whiskey distillery was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay in the Highlands of Scotland. After Glenlivet, Fettercairn was the second distillery to receive an official distilling license. After a number of owners, the distillery was sold to United Spirits Limited in 2007. Today, the bottles still bear the white unicorn as a crest, which was introduced as a trademark by Sir Alexander Ramsay. The ring on the neck of the bottle, as well as the grooves of the bottle, reflect the exceptionality of the distilling equipment with external cooling.

Each single malt from Fettercairn Warehouse 2 exhibits a tropical character, which results from the copper cooling ring distillation process.

This particular single malt from the Highlands is aged in ex-bourbon barrels, rum barrels and French Red Wine barrels. After the maturation process, it is bottled without chill filtration and coloring.

Distilled: 2015

Bottled: 2022
