The Aberlour 14 Years Old DOUBLE CASK MATURED, a Speyside single malt, undergoes 14 years of maturation in two different types of cask: American bourbon casks and Spanish sherry casks. This dual maturation method combines the characteristic features of both types of cask by bringing the whiskies together shortly before bottling, which gives the Aberlour 14 Years Old its unique taste.
