The limited edition Distinction whisky from Tamdhu highlights the remarkable influence that the maturation time in these American oak casks has on the whisky. Originally, these casks were used to store the finest Oloroso sherry for six years, a process that infuses the wood with rich and complex fruit flavors. After this period, the casks are transferred to the Tamdhu Distillery.
