2022 Bret Brothers La Soufrandiere Saint-Veran Climat La Bonnode, Maconnais, France Magnum (1.5 L)

Wepropose a “Zen” version of multiple cuves, with no added sulfur until bottling. For these wines, the total added sulfur is around 20 mg/l. Only few bottles “Zen” are produced (900 to 1500 bottles for each)
Neighbor to Combe DesRoches, La Bonnode is a superb parcel of 2 hectares, facing east at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson. The vines are mostly bordered by old brush: a sheltered, isolated situation that allows us to biodynamically cultivate the vines with ease. Working in this parcel, we can see across the Sane Valley all the way to the Mont Blanc in the distance to the east. This first vintage confirms our hopes: this is a great terroir for whites, with both tension and fruit. Cheers!
