America’s most-awarded rum distillery launches a classic aged dark rum in limited production. Created especially for whiskey drinkers, Bayou Select authentic “sugarhouse” recipe was inspired by early Louisiana rum makers. By combining fresh all natural local sugarcane and proprietary sugarcane yeast, we deliver a new taste for rum. On the nose is creamy vanilla with hints of apple and cinnamon. The flavor profile opens with a dry oak-like character reminiscent of an aged bourbon, followed by pronounced cinnamon and maple. Dry with long-lasting notes of dark fruit and wood.
