Exploring the Alps

Chris Leon sits down with Corkhoarder’s Bryan Garcia to discuss a place that’s (for too long) been little more than a box to check on wine exams: the French Alps.

The importer is known for his pioneering curation of French Alpine wine especially from Savoie, where his selections have unearthed a whole new generation in this tiny corner of the wine world.

We’ll explore an impressive range of styles: from fresh Gamay to structured Mondeuse, hyper-local Gringet, and (of course) Jacquere, Altesse and friends. A full highlight of the area’s incredibly fresh, elegant and (!) surprisingly original wines.

All experience levels are welcome (you just need to be 21+)! Please no gum, mints, or strong perfumes.
