MAITRE DE CHAI Zinfandel Ros Buckaroos Stampede 2022

Established in the 1940s, the Stampede Vineyard consists of Zinfandel vines that grow on their original rootstock, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, within Lodi’s Clements Hills AVA. These vines thrive in soils comprised of decomposed granite, and the vineyard’s location offers a view of an ancient riverbed on one side and the Clements Stampede rodeo grounds on the other. Despite its modest alcohol content of only 12.5%, this wine boasts a significant amount of acidity, paired with the richness and liveliness that one would typically associate with mature Zinfandel vines.
