Made from infusion of green and red rhubarb chunks, on the palate, a stewed note that prevails over the stringent characteristic of the fruit, making the liqueur both lively and sweet. Harvested in the spring, Rhubarb evokes childhood memories possibly more than any vegetable. Its also a favorite of bakers and confectioners, who use sugar and strawberries to balance its intense tartness. For this liqueur, an infusion is made of both green and red rhubarb to achieve a perfect balance between tart and sweet. An aroma of strawberry candy and fresh rhubarb stalk transforms on the palate into stewed rhubarb and red berry marmalade with a slightly vegetal finish.
