Critic tasting note: (1999 vintage) “With over two decades under its belt, this Tawny fortified defies its age. It’s radiant burnt orange in hue, with an equally sunny disposition. High-toned aromas of candied citrus, flan, roasted nuts and a damp woodsy underbelly lead to a mouthfeel that’s rich but not unctuous, sweet but not cloying. There’s some heat from the alcohol but a wealth of primary citrus flavors that hint at many more years to come.
