Riesling grown by Philippe Brand in Ergersheim, Alsace. This spent five weeks on the skins as whole bunches, before being pressed off to cuve until May. There is a beautiful density to the citrus fruit on display here, which is framed by perfectly judged, powdery tannins. Very much a Riesling for the table, it would be wonderful alongside a classic Alsatian choucroute.
