This rouge clair (light red) is something between a red and ros, and is produced from a blend of 85% Abouriou, with the rest equal parts Malbec, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are vinified using three different techniques – carbonic maceration, saigne, and press – then blended in tank, and aged in foudres on the fine lees to make an unusual and surprising wine thats perfect when served slightly chilled.
