2021 Hibiki Harmony ‘Ryusui -Hyakka Edition (750Ml)

Harmony – a rather apt word to describe this well-balanced Japanese blended whisky from the Hibiki range. Hibiki Japanese Harmony is made with malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as grain whisky from the Chita distillery. The whiskies are drawn from 5 different types of casks, including American white oak casks, Sherry casks and Mizunara oak casks.

The blend itself was crafted by the Suntory Whisky blending team, led by Master Blender Shingo Torii. An elegant expression, with wafts of honey, orange, a herbaceous touch or two and light oak. “Hibiki”, meaning Resonance in Japanese, honors the Harmony that lives between Nature and People. The 2021 limited edition bottle design of Hibiki Japanese Harmony pays tribute to the One-Hundred Flowers and Flowing Water, known as Ryusui-Hyakka in Japanese.

The design showcases the beloved blossoms of the Japanese whiskey twenty-four seasons and the symbol of the ever changing flow of water as a metaphor for the passage of time as it connects one season of life into another. Each bloom is distinct and delicate and the art of both the bottle and the whiskey it holds will evoke emotion and sensory pleasure.
