Winemaker NotesThe 2021 vintage is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot, all estate grown. Uponpouring, the wine exhibits a dark ruby color with a rim that leans slightly purple. The aromaticsare delightful, with top notes of cassis, blackberry and violets, followed by hints of pencilshavings, black licorice and forest floor. The wine is medium weight, refined and elegant,tasting of cassis and blue fruits with a bright note of raspberry on the mid-palate. The nicelyintegrated tannins and balanced acidity show lively energy in its youth, and the long finishagain displays the bright cassis revealed throughout.”
