Each October, the distillery produces its peated whiskies, with Alinta, Bladnoch’s only peated expression to date, being extended this year with a limited edition annual bottling.
This new edition, which comes from rare stocks of the 2009 vintage, is called Alinta Reserve and is matured in 100% first fill amontillado sherry hogshead casks. With a limited edition of only 2000 bottles, this bottling is carefully selected by Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage and embodies a unique balance of smoky campfire flavors and hints of white chocolate.
For the first batch in 2023, only casks from the rare 2009 stock were used to offer lovers of a strong yet harmonious dram a special taste experience.
