In the legendary “No. 1 Vault”, the old stone vault on the edge of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions combine to create a single malt whisky with complex balance, mild Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and a wealth of fresh stone fruit flavours.
Bowmore FIFTEEN YEARS OLD is an Islay single malt that is a perfect example of a sherry cask finish.
First the maturation takes place in bourbon, but the last three years in oloroso sherry casks, which gives this Scotch whisky its deep color and robust and warming finish.
