In 1846, John Dewar, Sr. created Dewar’s whisky brand in Perth, Scotland. Originally John Dewar & Sons, LTD. was a small wine and spirits merchant shop in Perth and now it’s owned by Bacardi. The brand has grown to be globally recognized and awarded as one of the top scotch whiskies in the world.

Dewar’s has accumulated thousands of awards over the years and recently placed first at the International Whisky Competition for theBest Blended Scotch Whisky placing Gold for Double Double 32 Year Old, Second Place in the same competition winning Silver in the same category, and Third Place for Dewar’s Double Double 26 Year Old.
