Glenmorangie has announced the launch of a “nutty and spicy” 12-year-old whisky finished in Amontillado Sherry casks. Exclusive to Australia and the United Kingdom, Glenmorangie Amontillado Finish (46%) is the fourth release in the Distillery’s Barrel Select Release series of small-batch single malt. The expression was inspired by distiller Dr Bill Lumsden’s appreciation of Amontillado Sherry. He sourced the Sherry casks to add a “complex twist” to Glenmorangie’s signature fruity style.
