Kilchoman 16 Years Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Limited Edition 50% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Kilchoman Distillery on Islay has launched its oldest whisky to date – Kilchoman 16 year old.

Founded in 2005 by Anthony and his wife, Kilchoman was the first new distillery to open on Islay in more than 120 years.

Their whisky range includes their signature peated single malt, Machir Bay, limited editions based on 100% Islay grown barley and the annual sherry cask matured Loch Gorm release.

The first batch of this new expression was produced from a group of 21 casks, mainly ex-bourbon casks, with some ex-Oloroso sherry casks selected by Kilchoman co-founder Anthony Wills and production manager Robin Bignal.

Anthony said, “This is a landmark release for the distillery, the oldest global bottling we have achieved to date at 16 years old. I look forward to Kilchoman fans around the world tasting this outstanding whisky and experiencing the evolving character of our single malt.”
