Hacienda Coloma is located in the central Moorish region of Colombia and has been owned by the Constain family for 2 generations. The founder, Alberto Constain Medina, created the most famous coffee liqueur in Colombia.
The rum is distilled from molasses using the column still method. For several years, the blend matures in former bourbon barrels. It is finished in barrels in which coffee liqueur was previously stored.
