The 2021 Karl Haidle Riesling “Ritzling” trocken is a lively and expressive introduction to the estates lineup, named after winemaker Moritz Haidles nickname. Sourced from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in the Remstal region of Wrttemberg, this Riesling showcases a balance of freshness and complexity.

Fermented with native yeasts, 30% in stainless steel and 70% in large, old German oak casks, the wine undergoes six months of aging in the same vessels. It presents bright citrus and orchard fruit notes, underpinned by a mineral-driven structure from the regions colored marl and sandstone soils. With crisp acidity (7.8 g/L) and just 2 g/L of residual sugar, it offers a dry, vibrant profile with subtle texture and depth. A pure, terroir-driven Riesling, perfect for pairing with light seafood, fresh salads, or enjoying on its own.
