Maker’s Mark 46 Kentucky Bourbon Whisky 47% Vol. 0,7l

The Maker’s Mark 46 Bourbon Whisky was created after 125 experimental approaches to develop the optimum recipe for this bourbon. The breakthrough came with the use of oak staves number 46 made from French Limousin oak. These specially selected, lightly toasted staves help to add additional toasted flavors and a pronounced bourbon vanilla note to the whisky without compromising the mild taste of the original.

For the production of Maker’s Mark 46, the classic Maker’s Mark Bourbon, which is matured for around 6 years, is matured for an additional three quarters of a year in these specially prepared barrels. This careful post-maturing refines the whisky and provides an exceptional depth and complexity of flavor that makes Maker’s Mark 46 an outstanding example of craftsmanship in bourbon production.
