Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson have deemed it ready for release. This single barrel whiskey stands out with an average proof of 110.2 (55.1% ABV). Despite the higher cost of barreling at a lower entry proof of 103 compared to the standard 125, McKee highlights that this method yields a whiskey that is richer and more complex.

The 2024 release of Michter’s US*1 Barrel Strength Rye is celebrated for its rich and complex flavor profile.
