Octomore EDITION: 15.3 Super Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt 61,3% Vol. 0,7l in Tinbox

Octomore 15.3 impresses with its exceptionally high peat content of 307.2 PPM and comes from barley grown on Octomore Farm on Islay, just a few kilometers from the distillery. This single malt is not only robust, but also displays a fascinating balance between intense smoky notes and the sweet, fruity aromas created by the slow distillation.

The 5-year maturation was carried out in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and first-fill Oloroso hogsheads from Jerez, Spain. This careful cask selection gives the whisky additional depth and complexity, with the spicy and fruity notes of the Oloroso blending harmoniously with the strong peat smoke.

Octomore 15.3 is an expression of Islay’s wild character and its unadulterated origins – a real collector’s item for lovers of intensely peated whiskies.
