Thus, Penderyn Whisky was launched in 2004 on St. David’s Day. Dr. David Faraday designed a unique copper still with a still that the friends owned.
The distillery is located in the village of the same name on the southern tip of the Brecan Beacons mountain range. The fresh, natural spring water available there is a component of the great whiskies.
The Penderyn SHERRYWOOD Single Malt Welsh Whiskey matures in ex-bourbon casks and receives its finish in ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
