A special series from St. Kilian Distillers is the Kiliani Edition, which is dedicated to the name day of St. Kilian and is released every year on July 8. The 2024 edition honors the blessed Immina, abbess in Wuerzburg and Karlburg, and reflects the Franconian region. This unique single malt whisky matured for over five years in former bourbon barrels, which were previously filled with the “Brauerreserve 1237” from the Faust family brewery in Miltenberg.
This special combination of casks and the long maturation period give the whisky a deep and complex flavor structure that delights both connoisseurs and lovers of new discoveries.
