The well-known Irish distillery is launching a new series of Dublin Distilled Single Pot Still whiskies – WONDERS OF WOOD. This was awarded as the world’s best single pot still bottling in 2022.
Unique styles of wood are used for maturation. In collaboration with the Tree Council of Ireland, the Wonders of Wood series contributes to planting only native Irish tree species on their own land in the Wicklow area.
The production process uses 50% unmalted barley and 50% malted barley. After triple distillation, the whiskey is aged in Virgin Portuguese Oak barrels.
The bottling is done without chill filtration.
