His daughter designed the matching label with the Scottish national bird. The whiskey immediately sold so well that within just a few years, “The Famous” was added to the name and the designation “Brand” was simply omitted. And so the popular whisky is still called The Famous Grouse today.
This Famous Grouse is created from a selection of Speyside malts and grains. The maturation, as well as the finish takes place in sherry casks.
The label shows the Spanish female grouse.
