This exclusively bottled GlenAllachie 12 Years Old is initially aged for a period of 8 years in premium American oak ex-bourbon casks. Its finish is given to this exquisite whisky for more than 42 months in carefully selected Moscatel casks, which come from Portugal and are normally used to make an aromatic dessert wine. It is bottled with an alcohol content of 48%, without the addition of colorants and without cold filtration to preserve the pure flavors and natural color of the whiskey.
