The Peat Charred Cask Irish Whisky is aged for 5 years in former Bodega Sherry casks before receiving its finish in new American oak casks for 6 months. The American oak barrels are peated and smoked beforehand with the bog oak from Glengarriff. The wood contains a lot of natural peat.
