Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Batch Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

This years offering clocks in at 123.2 proof, and is uncut, unfiltered, and straight from the barrel. The mash bill, barrels, and aging process for this release are the same as the standard 90.4 proof Woodford Reserve bottlings. These barrels are then batched and bottled at barrel strength rather than being proofed down.

The distillerys tasting notes include a nose of rich oak, overripe banana and marzipan, with hints of orange oil dusted graham cracker and dried cherry. On the palate, were told to expect dried apricot drizzled with rich dark chocolate layered over toasted hazelnuts and coffee with faint flavors of cinnamon and clove, and a long finish of spearmint and sweet cedar wood.
